Atty. May S. Aguilar is the founder of May Aguilar Law, a small Cebu-based law firm. She is assisted by three lawyers and three office staff and provide strategic and client-focused legal representation. With nearly three decades of legal experience, she has built a reputation for combining practical legal insight with strong advocacy in civil, corporate, family, and criminal law. She regularly represents clients in litigation, negotiation, dispute resolution, and high-value transactions.

Atty. Aguilar graduated Cum Laude from the Silliman University College of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, from the same university. She is also a trained arbitrator, licensed broker, published author, and former law professor. She is the author of Nullity and Annulment: A Non-Lawyer’s Guide to the Philippine Law on Marriage and A Non-Lawyer’s Guide to Understanding Estafa. In addition to her legal practice, she serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Silliman University and is a frequent speaker on legal education, advocacy, and dispute resolution.
